Welcome to our Barcelona Class Page
The adults in our room are:

Our topic for Summer Term 2 is 'Out of this World'

Well done to all of the children who took place in the KS1 Music Festival. You sung beautifully!

Learning at Home
For homework each week the children are expected to:
- read at least 5 times a week.
- complete their spellings home work sheet and put it in the homework box by Wednesday. Please talk to your child about having to do this weekly. We also remind them to take their folders out on a Wednesday.
- visit mathletics to complete activities set. These will be updated on a Friday for the children to work through. We will begin to send home times tables sheets in the Autumn 2 term.

Click the pictures below for the links. Mrs Bright-Smith has passwords stored should you need it sent home agan.
The children had great fun meeting some new characters that will help them to understand different learning behaviours. We tried lots of different activities as you can see below. We then said which was our favourite and least liked activity.
We have looked at 'hound', where we looked at the following behaviour statements:
I have lots of good  ideas.

I like to do my own thing.

I like to be different.
I love using my imagination.

I wonder how you show these qualities at home too?

This past week, Barcelona Class have looked at the 'Sheepdog' behaviours. We discovered some of the children already knew a facts about real sheepdogs. One child said "these are things that real sheepdogs have to do as they round up the sheep for the farmer."

I like being tidy.
I try to know what to expect.

I enjoy organising things..

I like to be on time.
